Team & roles

Manage your organization’s roster under Settings → Team. Admins and owners manage everything; everyone else sees the roster read-only.

  1. Open Settings → Team → Invitations and enter your colleague’s email address.

  2. Pick the role their access starts at — you can change it any time after they join.

  3. Send. They receive an email invitation; pending invitations are listed on the same tab and can be revoked until accepted.

Six roles cover the usual separation of duties:

Capability Owner Admin Editor Member Viewer Billing admin
Read everything
Triage issues & manage alerts
Manage properties & integrations
Org settings, team, projects
Billing

In short: owner and admin run the place; editor builds (properties, alerts, issues, integrations) without org administration; member reads everything and triages issues and alerts; viewer is read-only; billing admin is read-only plus billing surfaces.

Roles apply to API keys too — a key acts with the access of the role that created it, and every write it makes is attributed in the audit log.

For roles below admin, access can be narrowed further with projects: expand a member’s row to grant viewer or editor access per project. Owners and admins always have full access to every project, and properties outside any project stay visible to the whole organization.

The audit log (Settings → Audit log, owner/admin only) records every change anyone — or any API key — made in the organization: who, what, when, from which IP.

  • Append-only — nothing in the app or API can edit or delete entries.
  • Filterable — by actor email and action type.
  • Exportable — download the last 90 days as CSV for compliance reviews.
